As a newly qualified teenage driver, it didn’t take me long to decide that I wanted to write about cars and bikes for a living. Through determination, hard graft and sheer bloody-mindedness, that’s exactly what I have been doing for the past one-and-a-half decades. Being a girly in a man’s world hasn’t been easy, but it’s certainly been interesting – and the experience has sure toughened me up! I’ve dealt with some nonsense over my years as a motoring writer… but I don’t take any now!

	With numerous specialist magazines and publications under my belt, on staff and as a freelancer, I reckon I can tackle most things in an automotive publishing vein. I have extensive knowledge, understanding and experience of the motoring industry and most machinery both two-wheeled and four – as well as a fleet of old and exciting vehicles in my garage.
